MIND CONTROL, OSWALD AND JFK: Were We Controlled?, Introduction by Kenn Thomas.
Were We Controlled? was first published in 1968, when it maintained that Lee Harvey Oswald was a special agent who was a mind control subject, having received an implant in 1960 at a Russian hospital. Thomas examines the evidence for implant technology and the role it could have played in the Kennedy assassination. Thomas also looks at the mind control aspects of the RFK assassination and details the history of implant technology.

This book does not focus specifically on MK-ULTRA research, but rather looks at how the entire field of psychology/psychiatry was developed and is used as an agent of control and repression, particularly through the use of behavior control drugs. ---

Acid Dreams by Martin Lee and Bruce Shlain 1985
Provides further details on the CIA's MK-ULTRA projects as well as a look at how the 60's counterculture was co-opted from early on by the acid gurus, virtually all of whom had extensive connections to the CIA.

Journey Into Madness by Gordon Thomas 1989
Yet another hard-to-find book that is essential reading both for information on MK-ULTRA as well as background information on Dulles, Helms, Colby, Casey, Gottlieb, Buckley, and various other key players in the CIA.

Acid: The Secret History of LSD by David Black 1998
Not particularly well written and with poor production values, this book nevertheless makes a nice supplement to Acid Dreams, filling in some more of the details on Ron Stark.

Satanic Cults:

The Family by Ed Sanders 1971 A much different take on the Manson Family than was presented by hack prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi in Helter Skelter, detailing the numerous Satanic cult connections of the Family.

Unspeakable Acts by Jan Hollingsworth 1986
Hollingsworth provides a lengthy and exceptionally well documented look at a multiple perpetrator/multiple victim childcare ritual abuse case in Florida.

The Ultimate Evil by Maury Terry 1987
A well documented and terrifying account of the Son of Sam and Manson murders, and why they weren't what they appeared to be. Read this in conjunction with Acid Dreams and The Family and try to connect all the dots.
