BDBC LOCAL INQUIRY 10th OCTOBER 2002 PRESENTATION BY CHRIS MAILE - CfPS Chair
Chris Maile is the Chair and one of the founding members of the Campaign for Planning Sanity, and Chair of Mast Sanity. His background is that of Green Politics, and environmental direct action campaigns, spanning some 20 years. He has been involved in the background work of a number of environmental campaigns, including the M65 and Manchester Airports Second Runway. He has also been involved in a number of public inquiries, the most significant being the Xanadu development in Leigh, Lancashire, which was resoundingly won by the local community.
Jointly between Mast Sanity and CfPS over 600 local communities have sought our advice this year on phone masts, either via email or to our helpline, with the numbers increasing as more people become aware of the issues".
