Hi

I thought I owed it to everyone in this group, with whom I sympathise
greatly, to share my acne cure experiences.

For 14 years I suffered with acne, trying everything to cure it from
homeopathic pills to the strong, dangerous Accutane prescribed only by a UK
hospital.

When I look back now, I feel so stupid for not trying the obvious - clearing
my diet of something humans are not naturally supposed to consume - Cow's
breast milk!

I remember as a child I had an allergy to cow's milk which used to give me a
runny nose, or nosebleeds.  I thought I'd grown out of it when that stopped,
so I went back to eating dairy produce.  Nothing major, just the odd
chocolate, milk on cereal, milkshakes, cheese, etc.

14 years later, I was having a 'good skin week' and then I ate a packet of
M&Ms at the cinema.  The next day my skin broke out in spots.  This was the
first time I'd noticed a link with anything I'd eaten and acne.  I then
remembered my childhood acne and thought "Maybe I haven't grown out of it
after all".  So I tried a test - simply cutting out all dairy produce - and
it worked.  I cannot tell you how happy I am.

That was 2 months ago.  I used to get 3 new spots every day - but now I
think I've only had 3 in 2 months.  I am 'normal'!

Think about it - cows have 3 stomachs.  Humans have 1.  It's no wonder a lot
of us can't tolerate milk that's meant for the baby calf.  Any why would you
want to drink milk squeezed from the teat of a cow!!!  It seems so unnatural
now I look back.

I have replaced milk in my diet with Sweetened Soya Milk (virtually no
difference but much better for you), goat's cheese (doesn't seem to affect
me - goats only have 1 stomach), pizza without cheese (mozzarella is
tasteless anyway so there's not a lot of difference), and on the whole I do
not miss it at all.

I have also lost a bit of weight through the lack of animal fat, so I am not
only visibly healthier in my skin and weight, but also internally healthier
through reduced cholesterol.

I recommend you try it for a week, then reply to this thread to let me know
if it makes any difference.

Good luck!

J.
