Aluminium phosphate or aluminium hydroxide (alum)  Calcium phosphate Mineral salts of metals such as cerium nitrate, zinc sulphate, colloidal iron hydroxide and calcium chloride were observed to increase the antigenicity of’ the toxoids, but alum gave the best results.
