Alcohol addiction
[back] Addiction  Human Abuse

[Most alcohol addiction and alcohol related problems such as crime, violence and the filling up of hospitals (3/4 hospital beds by some accounts), can be laid at the door of Illuminati puppets such as New Labour, while the proper treatments get suppressed 1 (ditto the crime from illegal drug addiction courtesy of Dope Inc).  Even though at least 10% of the population are alcoholics our 'Health' Secretary, Andrew Lansley, is opposing minimum pricing on a unit of alcohol! 1]

[2016 March] Can gaunt Gazza finally kick his booze addiction with a 'Marmite vitamin' drip? Footballer hopes radical niacin treatment will stop alcohol craving  Since the start of the year, the former Newcastle United and Spurs star, 48, has been receiving fortnightly 500ml 'infusions' of a compound derived from niacin, the vitamin found in Marmite - and he is convinced that the treatment is helping him to stay dry.

[2005] Peyote on the Brain: Nature's Cure for Alcoholism  One early advocate of psychedelic therapy was William Wilson, known more familiarly as Bill W., who founded Alcoholics Anonymous in 1935. After observing alcoholics undergoing LSD treatment and taking the drug himself in 1956, Wilson became convinced that it might benefit alcoholics by triggering religious experiences like the one that had helped him stop drinking.

[pdf] Ketamine Psychedelic Therapy (KPT): Review of the Results of a 10-Year Study  We have been working with KPT since 1985 and have already treated with KPT more than 1000 alcoholic patients without any complications like protracted psychoses, flashbacks, agitation, or ketamine abuse. So, KPT seems to be safe and effective method of treatment of alcohol dependence. It seems to be especially powerful tool in Russia, where there was no psychedelic revolution in 60s, where almost nobody knows what does it mean "psychedelics", where almost nobody can even imagine that this drugs can be used for recreation, for fun, and therefore in Russia KPT looks particularly unusual and powerful.

“If you want to understand a society, take a good look at the drugs it uses. And what can this tell you about American culture? Well, look at the drugs we use. Except for pharmaceutical poison, there are essentially only two drugs that Western civilization tolerates: Caffeine from Monday to Friday to energize you enough to make you a productive member of society, and alcohol from Friday to Monday to keep you too stupid to figure out the prison that you are living in.”  ― Bill Hicks
