[2011 Sept] Wikileaks Ethiopia Files: Ethiopia Bombs Itself, Blames Eritrea by Thomas C. Mountain Ethiopian security forces planted 3 bombs that went off in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa on September 16, 2006 and then blamed Eritrea and the Oromo resistance for the blasts in a case that raises serious questions about the claims made about the bombing attempt against the African Union summit earlier this year in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
[2011 Aug] Burying the Darfur Genocide Myth by Thomas
C. Mountain Genocide has and is being committed by the Ethiopian
regime of Meles Zenawi against the Somali people of the Ogaden, but there has
been no genocide in Darfur.....The Darfur genocide myth has for years been a
very useful smokescreen in helping to hide the most terrible crime in the world
today, the Ogaden Genocide.....Sudan is estimated to have suffered some two
million deaths during its decades-long civil war between the north and the
south. While peace has been slowing taking hold in Darfur, in the
Ogaden peace is a long lost memory. War, famine, and disease are spreading
across the Ogaden, and it is becoming a situation that is increasingly the norm
in growing areas of Ethiopia. While the western hucksters raked in beau coup
millions of dollars while peddling their “save Darfur” bunkum, Sudanese have
seen real peace on the ground take place in Darfur.
In contrast, Ethiopians, suffering under a regime that is the largest recipient of western aid in Africa, only see a future of growing ethnic and religious conflict, and worse, active programs of genocide. The problems developing in Ethiopia can invariably be traced back to the west, mainly the USA. The west, in particular the USA, is hell bent on keeping Africa in a state of crisis, the better to exploit. And the “save Darfur” lobby is all for bringing more violence to Africa under the guise of “humanitarian intervention”, while little of the over $100 million they collected ever reached the Darfur people it was intended for.
The Ogaden, Oromo and Anuak regions of Ethiopia have seen massive military occupation and state repression. The Ethiopian government of Meles Zenawi has perpetrated mass starvation and scorched earth policy in the region. There has been very little international media coverage and most is favorable the Zenawi regime or pressing the upside-down stories about “relief” and “starvation” that serve the Western “humanitarian” business sector. The Ogaden basin is a bloodbath today. Applying the same legal standards as in Darfur, all three Ethiopian regions qualify as ongoing genocides against indigenous people.49 Failure to apply the genocide standards constitutes genocide denial. [2011 May] West Funds Full Blown Genocide in Ethiopia by Thomas C. Mountain
Ethiopia /USA/ Somali Pirates’ Cover-up by Thomas C. Mountain
 US Behind
Invasion of Eritrea by Thomas C. Mountain
What the media almost never mentions is that the invasion of Eritrea by
Ethiopia is funded by the USA and armed and advised by Russia. Preliminary
research shows that in the last 18 months the American government has provided
Ethiopia with at least $460 million in aid in the form of hard, convertible
cash. The Economist reports that the UK based International Institute for
Strategic Studies claims that Ethiopia has spent over $460 million on arms in
the last year alone, almost all of it from Russia and former Soviet block
countries. Could these figures be coincidental?......To
this day Eritrea is the only country in Africa that owes nothing to the World
Bank or the IMF. This independence, backed up by
a thriving economy, is a powerful role model for not only Africa, but for the
rest of the world. If tiny, natural resource poor Eritrea can not only go it
alone, but do better than all the rest of the IMF/World Bank controlled
countries, what is to stop everyone else from following suit?
This is the reason behind the US support for the Ethiopian invasion. The
US elite want Eritrea brought back under their dominance, or at the very least,
so devastated that they are no longer a role model for the rest of the world.
..... Under the supervision of Russian Generals and provided with US and Israeli satellite intelligence, the Ethiopia army was able to pinpoint an Eritrean weak point and breakthrough into western Eritrea, the bread basket of Eritrea. There they proceeded to carry out a "scorched earth" campaign until driven out by Eritrean counter attacks.
....Already, their US paymasters are growing concerned by their failure to crush Eritrea and have already begun to cover their tracks leading to the support they have provided to Ethiopia. It is the responsibility of us in the west to expose the criminal nature of the US support for this holocaust. The bottom line is without US $'s the TPLF regime could not have attempted this invasion in the first place. For the US to say they didn't know their aid money was being spent on arms is like the Mafia don saying he didn't know his capos were committing all their crimes.
.....The question is "are there enough of us in the west who care enough to expose this crime? Or don't a million African refugees and another 100,000 dead Africans matter?"
