the editor of the prestigious British Medical Journal (BMJ). Not both, but
EITHER daily exercise or smoking cessation is a whopping 20 times more effective
at prolonging life than bypass surgery! But don't expect your doctor to tell you
this little fact, because unlike with expensive bypass surgery, nobody gets rich
if you or I go out for a daily walk! And you can bet your last dollar you will
never in a million years hear it from any cardiovascular surgeon who all make
very nice livings performing bypass surgery, even though they know full well
instructing most of their patients to take a daily walk would save far more
lives. Bottom Line: Surgeons only make big bucks when the knife is cutting!
